Jutta Pfannkuch at Little15 Jewellery is pleased with the new online shop that we created with her. Choosing the right web company in these difficult times is even more important than ever, so here's what she had to say abuout us and the Little15 business going online.
I will also take the opportunity to thank Jutta for her patience during the project. It has been a real pleasure to work with such a positive and driven business, we all look forward to the continuing success of little15 jewellery.
1) Why did you choose netrino ?
Netrino were referred to me by a business contact who recommended their services, we began working together on improving my current email marketing and the optimisation of the old little 15 website. I wanted to be sure before progressing with anything on a larger scale that I was able to quickly increase the revenue of my existing online shop.
After working together I found that Jason was very proactive and took time to show me how a new bespoke online shop could reflect the style of my products and convey my brand and services more effectively, ultimately it is all aimed at increasing sales, but I wanted the creative input also.
2) What challenges do you face as a boutique retailer right now ?
It would be ultimately counterproductive to let standards slip and do nothing until the economy recovers. You just have to work harder and be more creative to attract business.
A slick and customer friendly online shop is just one of the many things my customers expect, it also means I can offer more value, for example customers are able to browse the collection online and pick up the item in store.
The standards in British retail are set very high and as a total shopaholic myself this is what I love. We are all used to a huge choice and retailers have to be competitive in every way.
Customers are very demanding even though they may not buy on impulse so much anymore, but the call for new collections and constantly changing stock is just something shoppers are used to. This is of course a difficult obligation to fulfill as a small business which is still in only in its second year of trading. We have managed to add some very exciting new young designers for Christmas 2009 and are even adding our own Little 15 Fine Jewellery collection which we are very proud of.
3) How do you find working with us ?
I run the boutique with the part time help of my partner, and therefor need to get things done quickly, Jason & Jacob are quick to respond and always make sure that I am fully supported.
The Netrino way is very approachable and personal, this suits my very non-corporate attitude to work. You feel like you are important and always get a response immediately no matter what time of the day. As a retailer and not an IT/website/internet expert I have found this a priceless attribute.
The netrino team are very creative and add their flair and ideas to the projects and I am very happy with the outcome. They really get what their clients are about and you can see that in their very impressive portfolio. I love the
Merchant Archive online shop and can see myself succumbing to some of their vintage treasures soon enough.
4) What has changed now you have the new online shop?
The previous online shop was difficult to use and clumsy to update, this is all in the past now, I am so happy with the new design, because Jason understands what I want so this makes things easy.
I actually enjoy working with the software, and with a laptop and wireless internet connection this can be done pretty much anywhere.
Updates are always instant which compares very favorably to my previous system and you can’t lose any data becuase netrino back up the site on a nightly basis.
5) What problems has your new solution solved for you ?
Two main problems were solved at once. Customers are finding navigation and presentation of our beautiful jewellery much easier and added features such as the blog and the wishlist are proving popular too.
The new site has cut the time I spend on maintaining it to a mere fraction. It is so simple and enjoyable to use. It’s my favourite new toy and I am already seeing the results in sales.
6) Are you happy with the results ?
I can only say that I am totally thrilled with the look and functionality of the online shop, the blog and the email newsletter. I am now so proud to tell customers and friends to look at the site and I have already had some very good feedback.
